Thank you for the comment. I see you disagree with something I’ve said. You are a writer I greatly admire here.

When I talk about the eternal gulf, I simply mean I am a messy, broken human who can’t get to God unless He makes the first move, which he did. God has made it possible for me to join myself to him. I do not believe I could have done it on my own.

Perhaps I could have made that part clearer.
